Spoiler Alert!
The whole final battle seemed to take forever in the book, but the movie was just kinda "hey, here's some death eaters. the boss at the end of the level was kinda tough though."

Yeah, with the book, it was like ... what the crap just happened? I had to re-read that part half a dozen times for it to sink in.

Not sure what scene you are talking aboot.

Spoiler Alert!
His death was about three paragraphs. because I was like WTF with the book, it didn't suprise me in the movie. Except in the movie it looks like she used the 'death' spell

Yeah, in the book it was a stunning spell that pushed him into the archway -- sheer luck, not a good shot by Bellatrix. But then again, that whole scene was like 8 chapters in the book, so a lot needed to be changed.

Sirrius wasn't hit by green light in the book...twas red :)

and I think if they had done this movie 'right' it would have been really boring. I don't care about quidditch or S.P.E.W.

I thought it was fairly well done.

I think Chains is upset he wasn't cast as Hagrids brother ;) I think you would have been awesome :)

Spoiler Alert!
I'm glad I'm not the only one that was a little confused about the sirrius death scene. Reading it it was like "Sirrius is kicking ass and smiling then, uh oh, he got hit with a green thing now he's going into the arch...meanwhile, back to the other guys..."

I was like, wait, what? Then everyone is like, he's dead Harry lets go. WTF, what is that arch thingy, why does it suck people in?

i honestly thought it was the worst movie of the bunch. If you havent read the book...OMG...how are you supposed to know what the HELL is going on. I read it but my buddy hasnt. he kept asking me all thru the movie what was this for and that for....it was frustrating. that being said i still enjoyed it for the most part.

Yeah, same here. I think the movie was pretty good, given this was the longest book, and the shortest movie, and there was a lot that needed to be cut. I think they did a really good job of cutting out the side plots without altering the story like they did with the last movie.

Spoiler Alert!

Although, I had the same reaction with Sirius' death though as I did in the book. It was that ... WTF?!? Did he just die? Or did he slip into something? He's dead? no....can't be...
Even the movie made it seem so out of the blue....

Pretty good movie. I'm glad to have red the books before seeing it because there is so much more detail and you can get inside their heads. I'm just as glad to have seen the film though. Their were some subtle things in the book I didn't catch onto like I did by seeing the film.
